Valeriu (Vali) Tomescu began his international coaching  for the Romanian National/Olympic Team coaching male and female athletes in the 5k, the 10k the half-marathon and in the marathon as well as in cross country.  Within this role he has coached and motivated athletes to reach their greatest potential for the European Championships, the World Championships and the Olympic Games

He received is Bachelors of Science in Physical Training and Sports from the esteemed Academy of Sports in Bucharest, Romania with an emphasis in athletics.  He has also received, from the Romanian Ministry of Sports, levels of track and field coaching certification I-II-III as well as the USATF certification levels I and II.  His expertise includes strength conditioning, graduated training schedules, motivating athletes, and recovery and stretching, with a firm belief in the implementation of scientifically proven methods using physiology and biomechanics.

He is a current special contributor for the Running Times Magazine for which he is an expert coach in the Q&A section.

He has coached athletes to the following results:
- Olympic Gold Medal in the Women’s Marathon Beijing, China (2008)
- Silver Medal in World 20k Championship, Debrecen, Hungary (2006)
- Silver Medal in World Championships, Marathon, Helsinki, Finland (2005)
- Gold Medal, World Half Marathon Championships, Edmonton, Canada (2005)
- Winner, LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon, Chicago, Illinois (2004)
- Silver Medal, World Half Marathon Championships, New Delhi, India (2004)
- Bronze Medal, World Half Marathon Championships, Villamoura, Portugal (2003)

He has received the following professional honors:
- Coach of the year by Romanian Olympic Committee in 2008
- Coach of the year by Romanian Track & Field Federation in 2008
- Coach of the Year by Romanian Olympic Committee (2005). 
- Coach of the Year by Romanian Track & Field Federation (2005).

Besides his running an coaching experience, Vali was a volunteer for the United States Paralympics Team that competed in Bucharest Romania in 2004.

T.J. Doherty began his competitive running at the University of Cincinnati.  Shortly after completing his running eligibility, he moved to Madrid, Spain.  Where he trained and studied under the vision of Antonio Postigo (now in Chile where he started the Entrenando Campiones, a youth development organization based out of Santiago.)  Returning to the US, T.J. trained under various other coaches including Randy Cox our of Cincinnati as well as the former World Record Holder in the marathon, Steve Jones.  Sidelined due to injury, T.J. has turned to assisting others in reaching their running potential.
